ShakeIt does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Nothing you enter leaves your device unless you choose to export and share it yourself.
Your medications, dose records, ON/OFF entries, symptoms and notes are saved as ordinary files inside the app's own storage area on your iPhone. Your app settings — reminder tone, waking hours, whether ON/OFF tracking is on — are stored alongside them.
This data is covered by your iPhone's own protection. It is included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone, under whatever settings you have chosen for that backup.
ShakeIt can export your history as a CSV spreadsheet so you can open it yourself or give it to a doctor. That export happens entirely on your device, and the file goes wherever you send it using the standard iOS share sheet. Once you share a file, it is governed by whatever service or app you send it to — not by this policy.
Reminders are scheduled locally by your iPhone. No reminder is sent from a server, and no notification content is transmitted anywhere.
Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Because nothing is held anywhere else, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request you need to make.
ShakeIt is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
ShakeIt is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing it shows should be used to change a medication regimen. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your treatment.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
